Based on latest data, the number of individuals reaching 100 in the UK has doubled from 8,300 in 2004 to 16,600 in 2024.
Between 2004 and 2024, the number of male centenarians has grown by 200% from 910 to 3,100. Over the same years, the number of women aged 100 or over nearly doubled from 7,400 to 13,600.
